Mental Health Monday will be featured every Monday on the Bears Bulletin for the next few weeks to help students navigate their COVID ruts! Feel free to work through the activities in order, or mix and match with whatever days you want to.
Before bed, think of three things you think you’ve done well today.
Take a break from social media, even if only for a day.
Make sure you have a snack while you study, it’ll help keep your energy up.
Sit outside for a few minutes, admire the little things in motion around you.
Go to bed ten minutes earlier today.
Say good morning to everyone you greet today.
Pick a flower you see today, make someone’s day by giving it to them.
Grounding tool of the week:
Try eating a piece of sour candy. Begin to focus on it’s tart taste and the texture of it on your tongue. Take in a few deep breaths and repeat if needed.
It’s time to start a brand new year, with lots of memories to be made! Have a great week, KSS.
