Between school, clubs, and socializing, it’s important to take time each day for yourself to reset and reflect. Here’s a list of activities you can try this week to take some time for yourself. Complete them in any order you wish, or skip some if you prefer; it’s your choice.
Try to create a morning schedule for yourself, begin practicing it this week, and adjust as needed.
Reach out to a relative or friend you miss.
Before bed, think of three things you think you’ve done well today.
Clean/declutter your room, even just a little bit.
Listen to your favorite song this morning.
Think of something you’ve been putting off; today’s the day you finally do it.
Try to drink one more glass of water today.
Grounding tool of the week:
Practise square breathing by following these steps:
Breathe in for 4 seconds
Hold that breath for 4 seconds
Breath out for 4 seconds
Rest for 4 seconds
Repeat
Continue your square as many times as needed to feel better.
Have a week, KSS!
