the first snow of the year. It was silent, blanketing the world in a hush. It wasn’t like the usual winters, but she didn’t mind. She liked the quiet, since it was all she ever knew. she didn’t have a lot of friends, or a family who tried. So she liked this silent snowfall. she looked out her window, watching every flake fall to the ground. It was calming, she wished it were like this more often. People are loud, and messy. But this snow was quiet, and unlike the rest. She wonders if it will be like this all year, even when everyone is outside with their friends whilst she still watches through the window. Mourning the loud, and messy girl she used to be.
