| Satish Patel | March 21, 2022 |

All quarter-final games will be played on Tuesday, March 22nd, and all semi-final games will be played on Thursday, March 24th.

Senior Girls Volleyball

Following a tough loss to Frontenac, the Senior Girls Volleyball team ended their regular season strong with a 3-0 blowout of Ernestown. Their final record is 10 and 1, which ties Frontenac and La Salle for first place in KASSAA. The girls did not allow a dropped set in seven of their ten victories. Their quarter-final game will be played at home, against longtime rival Regi, on Tuesday, March 22nd at 5:15pm. This game will be streamed on one of the KSS Gym YouTube accounts.

Junior Girls Volleyball

The Juniors Girls are going into the postseason with an impressive 9 and 2 record and tied for second place in KASSAA. They finished the season with five straight wins, including a huge 3-1 victory over second place Frontenac. First placed Sydenham is undefeated and will present their biggest challenge. Their quarter-final game will be against Napanee, a team they soundly defeated 3-0 back in February. This game will be played at home at 4:00pm, on Tuesday March 22nd, and will be streamed on one the KSS Gym YouTube accounts below.

Boys Ice Hockey

The Boys Ice Hockey team is into the quarter-finals after a strong 6-3 season, putting them in fourth place. They finished off the regular season with two important wins against Frontenac and Regi, along with blowout wins against Marie Rivier and Ernestown. Two of their losses ended in a shootout, so the team will be excited to get a second chance against the top teams in the playoffs. Led by point leaders Nigel Flynn and Alex Budd, as well as a strong grade 11 presence, this KSS team is not to be underestimated. Their quarter-final game will be played at 2:30pm at the MNP rink in the Invista center, on Tuesday, March 22nd, with their opponent still undetermined.

Senior Boys Basketball

The Senior Boys Basketball team ended its regular season with four wins in five games, putting the boys into a playoff position at 7th place. The starting line-up is mostly grade 11s, which sets them up for future competitiveness. Ending with a 4 and 6 record, their playoff matchup will be a tough one at La Salle, who finished with only one loss in the season. That game will be played at La Salle, on Tuesday March 22nd, at 2:30pm.

Junior Boys Basketball

The Junior Boys still have one regular season game to play on Monday, March 21st. They play Regi in a critical game that will decide their place in the playoffs! Their current record for the regular season is 2 and 9, with wins against Bayridge and Ernestown. If the boys beat the 5 and 3 Panthers on Monday, they will be alone in seventh position and will face Holy Cross in a quarter-final game. But if they lose, they will be in a three way tie for seventh, in which case a play-in game will decide the standings. The game against Regi will be played away on Monday, March 21st at 3:30pm.
