  • Check out The United Way Volunteer Centre! They organize volunteer opportunities with local non-profit organizations and are taking extra measures to ensure minimum exposure. Visit https://www.unitedwaykfla.ca/volunteer-centre/ for more information.

  • Translators without Borders is an awesome online option. If you are fluent in at least one other language than your native tongue, you can volunteer by translating all sorts of texts, from medical texts to crisis response!

  • Do you love to read or write? Check out Project Gutenberg! You can volunteer to proofread manuscripts in order to help them create an online book archive! Go to https://www.pgdp.net/c/ for more information.

  • Another great database of volunteer opportunities is Volunteer Canada! Again it is customizable by area, timeline and cause! This one also accounts for age! Go to

  • Some clubs at KSS even give volunteer hours for dedicated members, including Harmony and The Bears Bulletin!
