Poetry Contest!

By Sadie DeArruda | March 22 2021 |

We’re calling all the poetic souls within KSS for our next contest.

Here’s the how you play:

  1. Find an object or place within KSS

  2. Write a fantastic poem that will leave us wondering what you’re seeing

  3. Submit the poem to us by emailing dearrudas@limestone.on.ca

The best poems will be published for the world to wonder.

And to get you started, here’s an original poem.

Can you figure me out?

A simple glass and wood box,

Encompassing years of competition.

Years of being surrounded by blue,

And now we break the repetition.

It’s time to settle into your new home,

Your time to rest after you’ve roamed.
